DEDICATED TO ALBANIA’S CULTURAL HERITAGE SINCE 2023
The Albanian Institute of Cultural Studies (AICS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and propagation of Albanian cultural heritage. Founded in 2023 in Pristina, Kosovo, we have been conducting in-depth research on various aspects of Albanian culture, including history, traditions, language, and arts. We have also been creating and curating educational resources and events that bring Albanian culture to life for a global audience.

Our Story
Since our inception in 2023, the Albanian Institute of Cultural Studies has been a hub for the exploration and promotion of Albanian cultural heritage. Our journey has been marked by numerous collaborations with universities and institutions worldwide, bringing together contributors from Albania, Kosovo, Austria, Germany, USA, North Macedonia, and beyond.
One of our landmark projects, Kosovo in 100 Photos, allowed us to showcase the rich tapestry of Kosovo’s culture, culminating in the publication of a book by the same name.
Our Mission & Vision
Our Mission at the Albanian Institute of Cultural Studies is to preserve, promote, and propagate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of Albania and Albanians. We aim to bridge the gap between generations and geographies by leveraging digital platforms, ensuring that our cultural wealth is accessible to Albanians at home and abroad, as well as to the global community.
We also seek to foster dialogue and collaboration among scholars, artists, and cultural practitioners who share our passion for Albanian culture and its contribution to the world.
